Membership Guide and Fee Standards (2025 Trial Version)

Dear Colleagues:

The International Mental Health Management Association (IMHMA) is dedicated to building a mental health professional platform with an international perspective. The China Representative Office (IMHMA-China Office), based in Jiangsu and serving the whole country, aims to provide professional growth, practice support, and industry endorsement for psychological consultants, mental health managers, and related institutions.

We welcome you to join us and become a member promoting the cause of mental health in China.

I. Membership Categories and Criteria

Based on professional background and experience, members registered and managed by this Office are divided into four categories:

1. Student Member

  • Eligibility: Undergraduates/graduates in psychology, medicine, education, and related majors; or beginners currently attending psychology training.

  • Requirements: Student ID or proof of training enrollment.

2. Professional Member

  • Eligibility: Practitioners holding certificates for psychological consultants, psychotherapists, or mental health managers recognized by the Association.

  • Requirements: Copies of qualification certificates and agreement with the Office's Code of Ethics.

3. Fellow Member

  • Eligibility: Experts with more than 5 years of experience in the mental health industry and rich experience in individual cases or supervision.

  • Requirements: Proof of years of practice or recommendation letters from two existing Professional Members.

4. Corporate Member (Council Unit)

  • Eligibility: Psychological consulting centers, psychosomatic departments of medical institutions, educational training institutions, EAP service enterprises, etc.

  • Requirements: Legal Business License or Organization Code Certificate.

II. Member Benefits

(A) Branding and Endorsement

  • Certification: Receive the "International Mental Health Management Association (China Representative Office) Membership Certificate" (Electronic + Physical).

  • Title Usage: Use the title "IMHMA China Office Member" in bios and business cards to enhance professional image.

  • Online Showcase: Professional Members and above can be listed and searched in the "Talent Pool" on the official website (https://cnlabhealth.com/).

  • Job Opportunities: Professional Members and above are recommended for job openings at partner workstations, hospitals, and schools.

(B) Professional Growth Support

  • Training Discounts: Enjoy Member Exclusive Discounts (10% OFF) when signing up for certification courses, workshops, and seminars hosted by the Office.

  • Continuing Education: Free access to annual continuing education lectures (Online/Offline) to meet certificate renewal requirements.

  • Supervision Resources: Priority access to group supervision sessions by senior supervisors at the Jiangsu Workstation.

(C) Practice and Business Support (Core Value)

  • Client Referral (Fellow Members Only): Priority entry into the Jiangsu Workstation appointment system to undertake consulting cases or corporate EAP lectures assigned by the Office.

  • Venue Support: Use membership cards to rent consulting rooms and group counseling rooms at the Jiangsu Workstation at Internal Prices.

  • Legal/Ethical Aid: Apply for professional guidance from the Office in case of ethical dilemmas or disputes during practice.

III. Fee Standards (CNY)

We adhere to the principle of "taken from members, used for members." Membership dues are mainly used for administrative operations, information system construction, and member services.

Professional Member ¥ 180 Per Year  
Fellow Member ¥ 500 Per Year Includes more case referrals and expert rights
Corporate Member ¥ 2800 Per Year Includes an authorized plaque for the institution

Special Notes:

  1. Membership dues are paid annually, valid from the date of payment.

  2. If a member withdraws midway, paid dues are non-refundable.

IV. Application Process

  1. Submit Application:

    Log in to the official website https://cnlabhealth.com/, go to the "Join Us" section, fill in the application form, and upload relevant qualification documents.

  2. Qualification Review:

    The Secretariat will complete the document review within 3 working days.

  3. Payment:

    After approval, the applicant will receive a payment notice. Please remit to the designated corporate account.

  4. Certification:

    Within 7 working days after confirming the payment, we will send you the membership certificate and welcome kit.
